Events Group
Are you thinking of organising an event and you need some financial assistance? Are you part of a committee or board that is involved in the organisation of events on a regular basis? Then you should seriously consider contacting the Events Group.
The Events Group provide financial assistance and advice to a huge variety of events, ranging from the Mini Owners Show to the International Dancesport Festival, from the Tennerfest to the Guernsey Dog Club, and from the Sarnia Rus Rats to the Tour des Ports de la Manche.
In order to provide the best possible assistance to events, the Events Group oversees a number of sub-groups known as the Specialist Interest Groups. These are listed below:

The Events Group also oversee four other types of events; SeaGuernsey, Walking Festivals, Liberation Celebrations and Vin d'Honneurs. If you would like to learn more about the mandate and objectives of the Events Group, and the action plans which will be carried out and measured between now and 2012, you can download the Events Group Strategy in pdf format from the column on the right of this page. All business units within Culture and Leisure have drawn up strategies or business plans, and these will be updated regularly, so please check back to the site on a regular basis.
